You spin me right round

South African motoring journalist Jesse Adams has claimed a world record for the longest continuous drift. Adams held a Toyota 86 in a non-stop slide for five hours and 45 minutes to cover 168.5 kilometres and unofficially claim the record. Guinness is yet to verify the attempt, set on a wet skidpan that Adams circled over 1000 times. Adams seemed relieved it was over, saying the milestone has “consumed the better part of two years of my life.”
