STICK THE SHIFTER

“Manuals are nice for a weekend car, but very few people actually buy them”

I don’t know why people are crying about no manual (STI badge, smaller turbo option to swell Subaru Levorg range in July, WheelsMag.com.au). The CVT-equipped WRX has outsold the six-speed manual since 2015.

Manual cars account for perhaps 10-15 percent of sales, and the Levorg is aimed at family buyers. Manuals are nice for a weekend car, but very few people actually buy them off the showroom floor.
