Swept up in it all

What do you do when you need to reassert yourself as the “world’s leading luxury goods provider”? If you happen to be Rolls-Royce, then you build a one-off, bespoke Sweptail coupe.

Inspired by private planes, vintage Rolls-Royces and super yachts, the Sweptail was created for one of the British car maker’s most loyal and valued customers, and is rumoured to cost upwards of $16 million, making it the most expensive known new car offered to date. The two-seater’s rear deck is an exuberant riot of glass, titanium, and ebony and paldao veneers.
