RUF flicks the bird

RUF, the German tuning house that made its name reengineering Porsches, has wheeled out a modern-day homage to its most famous ‘Yellowbird’ 911. This new version uses a bespoke carbonfibre tub and runs a dry-sumped 515kW twin-turbo 3.6-litre Mezger flat-six paired with a six-speed manual. The suspension is a racecar-style inboard pushrod configuration, and thanks to the the carbon chassis and aluminium body, it weighs just 1200kg dry. Drool.
