RAMming it home

Some of America’s biggest and baddest trucks are now available on Australian roads with factory-approved conversions completed by the Walkinshaw Group – the same company that builds HSVs. Walkinshaw has teamed up with Australian distributor Ateco Automotive to import the heavyduty Ram 2500 and 3500 pick-ups, now on sale for $139,500 and $146,500 respectively. The trucks are powered by a 276kW/1084Nm 6.7-litre diesel, comply to ADRs and have been crash-tested. They’ll be sold through an initial network of 20 dealers and are backed by a three-year/100,000km warranty.
