New owner for Pininfarina

Pininfarina, the Italian styling house behind automotive artworks such as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, Ferrari 250 GT, Maserati A6 and Peugeot 406 (and even Holden via the GM Daewoo-sourced Viva sedan) has a new owner. Indian carmaker Mahindra has finally picked up the studio after years of speculation and aborted buy-outs, although it will stand under the wing of one of the carmakerís information technology subsidiaries. No price was disclosed, but the new owner also picks up a cool $80 million in accumulated debt.
