Commodore shows its undies

The 2017 Holden Commodore has been shown – well, its underpinnings and proportions – as the Buick Lacrosse at the LA Motor Show. The Lacrosse is based on the same E2XX architecture as the next Opel Insignia, which is tipped to underpin the all-new Commodore, meaning it will share the Lacrosse’s hard-points but without the new Buick Avenir face (ironically, designed by Holden in Australia). Holden is yet to confirm where it will source the next Commodore, despite this architecture being the foundation for a plethora of medium and large-size GM vehicles.
