Speed limits to go at Nurburgring

Owners of Germanyís Nurburgring Nordschliefe are rebuilding sections of the track that have forced the introduction of speed limits after a series of high-speed crashes. Tourist driving season is over for the year, so work on track resurfacing and building additional FIA-spec catch fencing has started. This should see the removal of the 200km/h maximum speed limit.

First impressions suggest that the jump at Quiddelbacher Hohe hasnít been reprofiled, so lap records will still stand and the character of the famous racetrack will remain.
