Right-hook Rams on radar

ATECO Automotive, the importer behind brands such as Maserati, Lotus, Korea-based SsangYong and Chinese carmakers Chery and Great Wall Motors, has struck a deal to sell right-hand-drive Ram pick-up trucks in Australia late this year.

The conversion from left-hand drive will take place in Melbourne at Walkinshaw Automotive Group, known for its performance enhancements for Holden-badged cars including Commodore and Captiva. Ram will be sold through American Special Vehicles showrooms, backed by a threeyear, 100,000km warranty.
