THE Honda NSX has been delayed until early 2016. Production of the supercar was scheduled to begin in mid-2015 in Marysville, Ohio, but has now been pushed back six months. Honda says the delay has been caused by turning the engine around from transverse to longitudinal location.
Although NSX project chief Ted Klaus told Wheels in January that a three-year gestation period “is very similar to other such pinnacle products”, it will now be four years since the NSX Concept was unveiled at the 2012 Detroit show. The NSX is yet to be confirmed for Australia.
