THE Mercedes-Benz V-Class has arrived in V250 guise, complete with a 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel good for up to 150kW/480Nm (with temporary overboost). The luxurious van hits 100km/h in 9.1sec and even has shift paddles to control its seven-speed auto.
Available configured for six, seven or eight seats, the V-Class gets loads of leather and a pumping 16-speaker Burmester sound system to garnish its upmarket interior. You can even configure those rear seats with captain’s chairs and individual armrests.
As well as various active safety aids, there’s also Crosswind Assist.
But none of this comes cheap – think $85,500.
