MORE than 2000 Australians have paid deposits for a new Mustang, which arrives in December.
Clear favourite of the line-up is the 5.0-litre V8 GT model, accounting for 88 percent of orders.
But Ford expects the four-cylinder model to hit back. “Just like in America, we are seeing great early demand for the V8 GT,” Ford Oz boss Graeme Whickman said. “But we think the EcoBoost model will be a bigger seller longer term and help sustain sales longer than most performance cars as people see its great combination of performance and fuel economy”.
