Honda Accord Hybrid

The Accord Hybrid is the meat in the Honda hybrid sandwich. The Japanese maker is assembling a Ď3-2-1í hybrid line-up, with the three-motor hybrid NSX as its king, and the single-electric motor Jazz as the entree, both due here in 2016. Before then, the Accord Hybrid will be first cab off the rank, arriving in June, and have two electric motors as well as a 105kW four-cylinder for a 146kW total.

Itís already on sale in the US, where it has a claimed fuel figure of 5.0L/100km compared to the Toyota Camry Hybridís 5.2L/100km, although the Accord is expected to cost $50K.

BMW 6 Series

No seriously, this is it. Revealed at Januaryís Detroit show, the mid-life update of the biggest Bavarian two-door sees a price cut, spec upgrade and more colour choices. Minor styling tweaks, which see more aggressive front and rear bumpers, include a nine-bar kidney grille instead of 10, LED headlamps as well as more LEDs inside, too. Thereís also greater scope for the adjustable dampers. The changes apply to the entire line-up, including the Coupe, Gran Coupe and Convertible, and of course M6 models. It arrives here in the third quarter.
