Final Aussie Camry launched

THE last Toyota Camry model to be made in Australia has started rolling off the carmaker’s Altona production line, marking the official start of the final chapter for the Japanese brand’s local manufacturing. Known as the ‘Big Little Change Camry’, the new model features international styling externally, and carries over most of its interior from the existing Camry. It also misses out on many of the advanced safety options offered overseas – an indication that beneath the skin cost had to be cut. Final pricing and specs will be announced closer to its June launch.
