WE’VE been led to believe that moving to a full import business will allow Holden to pick from the best vehicles across GM’s global range.

Judging by the comments of GM design boss Ed Welburn on the Buick Avenir (Wheels, March 2015), “This is too swoopy to wear a Holden badge”, it looks like it is going to be a long, hard road for Holden.

So Holden won’t get access to anything remotely stylish, and Australia will be served up nothing more that run-ofthe- mill Vauxhalls and Opels.

With a full import portfolio we should expect more, not less, in the Holden range.
