I AM thinking of buying an SUV and keep on referring to the August 2014 issue of Wheels that had value-formoney medium SUVs. I have recently found out that while Toyota have capped price servicing for the warranty period (in my case, $170 per service) they charge $320 to update the GPS maps.

If, for some reason, you needed accurate GPS maps, capped price servicing becomes a sideshow to the cost of keeping the maps up to date. Not to mention that for $320 you can buy a very good portable GPS (with free updates). e e
