Date set for Cactus

CITROEN will launch its funky C4 Cactus here in January 2016, targeting the Mazda CX-3, Renault Captur, Honda HR-V and Peugeot 2008. Dubbed C4 (despite using the ‘PF1’ underpinnings of the smaller C3), the high-riding five-seat, five-door hatch is likely to land offering a pair of turbo engines; one petrol and one diesel. It should mirror rivals by sitting in the $25-35K bracket. “The C4 Cactus has the potential to be our most popular model,” Citroen Australia general manager John Startari told Wheels.
