IN PRACTICAL terms, the i3 doesn’t appear to have much more in its arsenal than a Holden Volt, other than upgraded batteries – something you would expect when the BMW is several years later on the market. The new C-Class is a superior car and the deserving winner. Your criteria are fundamentally flawed when they concluded an i3 victory – a vehicle with obvious shortcomings and limited overall practicality.
