VOLKSWAGEN will unveil the Golf GTD wagon at the Geneva motor show, its diesel-powered answer to the GTI. Performance is modest: the 135kW/380Nm 1968cc turbo-diesel four punts from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds, about three seconds slower than the Golf R estate. The FORDíS given the Focus a facelift. Th end of the 2015 car works better than pan-faced Fiesta, but the mid-life upda are more than cosmetic. Australian buy will be interested in a new 1.5-litre Eco petrol engine, offered in both 110 and 1 flipside is that it sips only 4.4L/100km. Ford Oz has ruled out the ST oiler for local sale, while the last performance diesel VW Golf sold here was the Mk6, off sale since 2013.
