Alfa Romeo 4C

THE wait is over: the stunning Alfa Romeo 4C coupe will finally land in Australia next month.

The February arrival of the seductively styled, rear-drive, mid-engined coupe is long overdue, hampered mainly by the exotic lightweight carbonfibre tub that underpins the new sports car.

At the launch of the production version at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Alfa admitted that it does not have the capacity to produce more than 1000 cars a year.

With Australia the odd-man out as a right-hand-drive market, and North America as the focus of Alfa’s new sports car renaissance, demand meant that Aussie buyers had to wait.
