The Antique Car Club of Albury Wodonga are holding their 50th Anniversary Rally from the 18th till the 22nd May in 2017. As part of the celebrations they will be holding a five day rally in and around Albury which combines the 2017 Council of Heritage Motor Clubs N.S.W.
Annual Rally (limited to 200 Cars) and the National Motoring Heritage Day (Albury-Wodonga) Display combining some 400 cars on the display day.

Taree Rescue Squad presents Weekend on Wheels in conjunction with the Manning Valley Cruzers on the 27th and 28th May 2017. This is a major fundraiser for the Taree Rescue Squad and all cars, bikes, hot rods, dragsters, street machines are welcome. Classics by the Coast for 2017 is being held on Sunday the 28th May at Bell Park and is run by the All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland Inc. There will be on display a wide range of classic and vintage vehicles, hot rods, commercial vehicles and motor cycles for the public’s viewing pleasure. Wintersun 2.0 is being held at the Murwillumbah Showgrounds on the 2nd to 4th June 2017 and is an automotive, music, art, culture and food festival for the Tweed and features a chrome bumper and special interest car and bike show. The Cortina Mark One Owners Club of Australia Inc. (CMOOC) announces the Second Australian Cortina Nationals to be held over the 2017 Queens Birthday long weekend in Albury. The First Australian Cortina Nationals was held in 2012 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Mk1 Cortina. The event was a huge success with over 220 examples of Cortina’s of all marks attending the three day event. The Second Australian Cortina Nationals will be held over the three days of the long weekend of the 2017 Queens Birthday (9th to 11th of June 2017) with the Lake Hume Resort being the hub of the event.

The HD-HR Holden Nationals is the annual gathering of all HD-HR Holden enthusiasts Australia wide. It is the highlight of the HD-HR year and it’s where you will find the most HD-HR’s gathered together at the same place at the same time.
In 2017 we make our way to Canberra. The Nationals always comprises a cruise around the hosting town and other attractions in the region which gives the locals a chance to see these wonderful cars on the road and hopefully bring back some memories for those lucky enough to have had one of these cars in their youth. It also includes a public Show and Shine event and official dinners and presentations.
The Queensland Hot Rod Show stepped up big time in 2016, with extra floor space, lots of support and a really good vibe. In 2017, the Show will be back again, but will be moving from its traditional May time-slot, to June. Show manager Katrina Martin stated that the date change is prompted by a large truck show which takes up the Convention Centre at Southbank for much of May.

Willowbank Raceway’s Winternationals achieves a golden milestone in 2017 when Australian drag racing fans will celebrate the 50th running of the classic event.
The occasion is a double celebration for Willowbank Raceway as it is the 30th time the Winternationals as been held at the track.
From the amazing flame-throwing Top Fuelers through to Junior Dragsters, every bracket that competes for national championship honours will be represented at the Winternationals, with more than 400 cars and motorcycles from all over the country expected to be on track over four big days of racing.

Top End Rumble is to be a pre ’65 run and the the official start is the 13th June 2017 at the Katherine Showgrounds. Our fantastic “as far as the eye can see” 300km rod run will start straight after breakfast on the 14th and take us to our venue in Darwin, The Sage Club Tropical Resort, where 10 days of exploring, adventure, cars and fun will begin.
