FOR THE fi rst time and last time in 69 years, Holden buyers can order of a photo of their car being built at the Elizabeth plant in South Australia.
Dubbed ‘My Commodore Build Photos’ and launched in April, the program is set to celebrate the history of local production, before it ends in October this year.
Customers will be emailed two downloadable images of their vehicle in various stages of build, as part of a ‘Welcome’ communication from the General.
All MY17 plated Commodore sedans, wagons and utes, plus Caprice V are included in the promotion as are the Limited-Edition packs, Director, Magnum and Motorsport.
HSV buyers however miss out.
For those who took delivery of their MY17 model prior to April, don’t despair, Holden has been taking happy snaps of your car on the line, so you can still have a memento.
Holden CRM Manager Rich Wright said, “We recognise buying a 2017 Commodore is a signifi cant and, for many, a sentimental purchase, so we’ve tried to go the extra mile and give them something really special.”
In the words of Darryl Kerrigan of The Castle fame – “Here’s one for the pool room.”
