A FAMOUS scientist was on his way to give a lecture at a university. His chauffeur, who had driven the scientist to many such lectures, remarked: “I’ve heard your speech so many times I bet I could do it myself, and give you a break.”
“What a great idea!” the scientist enthused.
So when they got to the university, the scientist wore the chauffeur’s hat and sat in the audience, while the chauffeur stood in front of the audience and delivered the speech flawlessly.
When it was over, he asked if there were any questions. One professor stuck his hand up and launched into a highly technical question. The chauffeur was momentarily panicked, but thinking quickly, he replied: “Oh, that’s an easy one. In fact, it’s so easy, I’m going to let my chauffeur answer it!”
