LOVING the recent articles on datalogging, guys – some of the best tech articles I’ve seen for a while (SM, Nov & Dec ’15).
There’s obviously a heavy bias towards EFI donks, but how about a detailed step-by-step guide on how us ‘carby folk’ would go about installing a complete datalogging solution for, say, a typical SBC? Explain what sensors are required, how they are installed, what product choices there are for the datalogger and software – stuff like that. I think an awful lot of your readers would find this sort of article highly useful, and it might just encourage people to get serious about this data stuff.
If you’re interested, I would even volunteer my Torana (above) to use as the test pig in the article. It’s a carbed 383ci SBC streeter making around 450hp.
