AS FIRECRACKERS lit up the Harbour Bridge to mark 2015’s passing, Mazda celebrated a champagne year for its sports models. Lexus and Audi wore similar smiles, and Volkswagen no doubt was happy with the Scirocco’s resurgence.
Not everyone was as happy, though. Lamborghini didn’t sell one car in 2015’s last months, and Toyota sold 1251 less 86s than it did last year.
Expect the R8 to bloom when replaced in Q2 2016.
