RAPTOR NO-GO, SAYS FORD OZ

FORDíS awesome F150 Raptor Supercrew pick-up made its global debut at Detroit, and Australia wonít see it Ė officially, at least. The longer, meaner Raptor will be built in left-hand drive only, precluding a start in ute-mad Australia. Ford confirmed in 2015 a factory right-hook version of its largely alloy ute would not be built, though itís possible to import your own and have it converted. Victorian company VDC, for example, can convert F150s under a low-volume import program, but hidden costs like luxury car tax will push prices well north of $150,000.
