I AM the proud owner of a 2014 Holden Commodore VF SS V Redline W310 which is soon to get a Harrop FDFI 2300 supercharger fitted – and I can’t wait. However, my youngest son loves Chrysler Galant wagons (don’t ask me why) and I just drove his latest stock-standard 1976 baby-poop-brown auto 21 kays back home for him.
Vague steering, no brakes, no power, top speed of 90km/h, smoked more than my old man (God rest) and the weird thing is, I couldn’t stop grinning. I felt like I was 17 again, as that’s how cars drove then. Maybe that’s why he loves them!
